Planaria (platyhelminthes), also known as turbellaria or flatworms, are unwanted guests in an aquarium, some of which can even pose a threat to fish. Due to their nocturnal lifestyle, the presence of these parasites is often completely unnoticeable.
These animals can reproduce in huge numbers. In freshwater aquariums, their victims include small shrimp and their offspring, but also weak animals, young fish and eggs.
Flatworms can also live in saltwater aquariums, however, large numbers of them can cause damage to corals and other animals.
Planaria X removes these pests from the aquarium reliably and without the use of chemical additives. The planaria crawl into the trap through one of the 8 openings and cannot escape again due to the special design. It includes two special baits for immediate use.
